Muay Thai or Thai Boxing

Thai Boxing in Pranburi, Thailand

Thai Boxing or Muay Thai is a martial art thousands of years old. It is different from Western-style boxing, because it includes kicks and punches performed with elbows, knees and feet.

Thai Boxing in Pran Buri, Thailand

Thaiboxing uses a lot of different techniques, some are not intended to hurt the opponent immediately, but used to keep him away or put him off balance before striking out with the next attack.

At least once a week, there are competitions in Baan Haad Pran and Pranburi town. These are real fights, sometimes with fighters coming from other provinces and they are a "must go" for the local male population.

Fight Night starts always at 21:00 and the entrance fee is 550 Baht.
