Airport Transfers
to Haad Pran and Pranburi Beach
There are many different
ways to reach Baan Haad Pran and the beaches of Pranburi.
You could fly from Bangkok to Hua Hin Airport and then transfer by
private minibus/limousine to Pran Buri. You could also catch the train
from Bangkok to the South and get off at Pranburi Station. Public
air-conditioned busses are leaving from Bangkok's Southern Terminal
several times per day and need little more than 3 hours for the 220
kilometres distance.
Arriving from the South
of Thailand is more difficult. Coming from Hatyai or Surat Thani,
you have the choice between bus and train, but when arriving from
Phuket or Krabi, the public busses are the only option. All busses
from the South are passing Pranburi town, but make sure they will
wake you up as the overnight busese are passing the town in the very
early morning. Travelling in Thailand is safe, fun and easy and getting
here will be part of your vacation.
When you arrive at Bangkok
Airport and have ordered private transportation in advance,
you have to walk through the customs into the arrival hall, where
you will see the guides and representatives of the hotels waiting
with their signs. Please look out for a sign, that is showing your
name. Should you arrive directly from abroad, take the opportunity
to change money in the arrival hall, where several bank offices have
counters. Kindly contact the guide before and inform him/her, that
you need some more time to change money. Otherwise he/she will start
to look around for you and you might miss each other.
